Kiefer has held teaching positions in some of the leading training centres we have in the UK for the performing arts, such as the reputable Italia Conti Theatre of Arts. Several students progressed into professional industry work in musical theatre productions and TV work. Other institutions Kiefer has taught at include Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts, Swindon, Wales Academy of Voice and Dramatic Art, Cardiff and Bangor University.
Prior to this Kiefer taught in further education at Coleg Menai, Bangor (as a lecturer in singing and later as a programme leader for a level 4 qualification in Musical Theatre). He also worked with choirs of up to 120 people weekly as a team captain for the ALOUD! Charity across Wales and as a choir leader for the 'Sing With Us' project with Tenovus Cancer Care.
Kiefer has delivered tuition in secondary schools, music-specialist schools and stage schools across Wales including Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias (Galeri, Caernarfon), West End Academy (Bangor) and Ty Cana (Llangefni). Recent choral work includes working with Encor, a contemporary choir in North Wales who recently featured on S4C series 'Canu Gyda Fy Arwr' (Jan 2023). Kiefer works regularly on a freelance basis giving private singing lessons and as a visiting tutor at Coleg Gwent, Newport, Coleg Bridgend and Coleg Menai, Bangor. Kiefer was the vocal coach for the brilliantly received 2023 Y Cwmni, Urdd Gobaith Cymru production of 'Deffro'r Gwanwyn' ('Spring Awakening').

"Fantastic and very talented singing tutor. Excellent subject knowledge and a pleasure to work with"
Lisa Jones, Programme Leader for Performing Arts, Coleg Menai, Bangor
"I had always wanted singing lessons but was worried that I would be wasting someone's time. My first lesson with Kiefer was a total joy. He was so kind and encouraging and I couldn't believe just what I achieved. It gave me so much confidence. He is incredibly professional and so supportive. The techniques he uses are really excellent and he guides you step by step to achieve your full potential. I am not surprised he is so sought after and has achieved such success with so many people. He seems to be able to inspire people with all levels of ability and guides them to achieve success. I met Kiefer through my membership of the Encore choir in Bangor where he was held in high esteem. Having decided to book lessons with Kiefer I can understand why. If you belong to a choir I am sure lessons with Kiefer would really enhance your performance"

"Wanting to make the best contribution possible to my local choir, I decided to approach Kiefer for singing lessons. Kiefer was originally the Leader and is now Director of “Encore”. I am a natural introvert and was initially unsure if I could go through the one to one learning process. However, I needn’t have worried. Kiefer is massively supportive and a natural teacher, engaging, enthusiastic, and passionate to ensure that his students attain their full potential. His language - through physical description of what your voice is doing, and more importantly why, is crystal clear. This leads to rapid learning, enjoyment and an increase in understanding and confidence. I have experienced a real change and development in my “sound”. I therefore enjoy the experience of singing at a completely level. He is a highly respected, sincere and supportive professional and naturally talented teacher" Damian Morgan-Hamilton, Private student
